THe Hotel is quite small and closes down around 2230 hrs in the week. More like a guest house than a Hotel. Still very pleasant stay, rooms are basic and functional. Buffet breakfast was adequate for me , cold meats , cheese, bread, scrambled eggs and bacon , cereals and dried fruit.adjoining bar closes early 2230 in week 2330 ish at weekends. I found bar prices expensive, but that was the same for all the bars I went to, not just this one. From what I saw those people with limited mobility and wheelchair users might wish to contact the hotel before booking. The hotel is virtually in the heart of the city with everything in walking distance. Shops bars and restaurants.
Top Tip
The adjoining Rose Red bar is very pleasant and a good place to start. Just get a good guide book and map and set off. The further you walk out of the centre the cheaper the food and drink becomes. I went for the christmas markets and must say that the Belgians have got quite a way to go yet before they can match the Germans.

Many local restaurants & bars, all we the ones we visited were good or excellent. But food is a little pricey.
