A charming hotel located a short walk from the central market. Staff here are very friendly and offer a high level of service. Some of the rooms offer great views over the city or the canal. A hotel definitely worth considering.
The hotel is housed in a traditional building with a very modern glass door at the entrance. The lobby is small but very smart, with a marble floor and black and white leather seats. Walking past the lobby one gets to the bar/lounge area, which is very large and comfortable. In addition there is a grand piano and this overlooks the Japanese garden. The bedrooms are large with a fairly masculine feel to them. However, they are all in good condition as are the bathrooms. The hotel has an excellent Japanese restaurant which is very reputable. It is located on the ground floor, next to the lobby. There is no other restaurant, although if required, it can be arranged for groups to take meals in the conference room.
