The exposed wooden beams and framed prints that greet you in the lobby when you first arrive at the Ter Brughe Hotel combine with the friendly staff to create an authentic feeling of traditional Belgian hospitality in a wonderful setting.
The Ter Brughe Hotel is situated along one of the most picturesque Brugean canals in the peaceful old quarter of St.Gillis. You will find the hotel near the 14th century Augustine Bridge. The house was built in 1553 and is now a listed building. That’s also the reason why you will not find a lift in the hotel.
Each standard room has a private bathroom with bath and WC, radio, colour television and direct dial telephone. Hairdryers can be borrowed at reception. Reception can also keep your securities safe.
The oldest part of the hotel is the vaulted cellar. Built originally as a warehouse for goods which were brought here along the canals, it serves today as a magnificent setting for your buffet breakfast.
