Lovely place to stay! Close to the market square and just by the canal. Delicious continental breakie included. Reception open 24/7 and very helpful. Had a fab weekend and would love to come back one day!

Things to do:
-rent a bike for 2hrs, you really get the feel for the city
-boat trip, is about 7euro and very brief, but worth doing
-horse carriage for 2 with a personal guide, fluent in english, probably best way to see the sights, 36euro for 40mins
-belfry is brugge's landmark which is currently undergoing some building works so only offers limited view. Tickets were 8 or 9 euro and you could only see half of the view so probably wouldn't go for it again during the works
Places to eat:
Overall very expensive! Main meals generally start at 18 euros but most places in the markt will be around 20-25euros per meal! There's plenty of places to eat just keep on looking till you find somewhere nice and reasonable. The further away from the markt the cheaper!
Definately try the local beers, amazing kwak worth 9euros and brugge zot cheaper but lush too!
We found this restaurant super delicious, friendly and reasonable 't Vagevuur in Sint Amandsstraat 23.
Enjoy!!!!!!!!

This hotel is very good - good location, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms. The only one gripe might be that the walls are quite thin so you might be unlucky if you are next to noisy people but this was not a problem for us.

Brugge is a great place to visit - just get a guidebook and go and see everything!
