My wife and I have been to Bruges some seven times and this is one of the only two locations we would choose for an Hotel. Good underground garage and easy to find Hotel in a confusing road system. Good breakfast dining. More than adequate rooms, quiet, excellent restaurants nearby for other meals. Only reason I only gave a three for facilities is small bar and sitting area and I have to balance it against the American style Park Plaza where I have also stayed over a Christmas. I chose the Academie for location and price but had already checked it out on a previous trip. Good value and a good Hotel, you wont be dissapointed.
